Keep-A-Breast: Cancer Benefit

Keep A Breast is a gallery event and art auction that benefits Breast Cancer Awareness organizations. Gamil branded, marketed and ran the entire event, including recruiting the artists and volunteers, finding the benefitting groups and running the auction. Keep A Breast Raleigh brought in a total of $10,000 at the end of the one-night auction, which was the most of any city to date.

Aly Khalifa Leads Raleigh’s City Plaza Design Charrette

Designbox and SparkCon members, including Aly and Beth Khalifa, and Ty Beddingfield, at the request of the Urban Design Center, facilitated a charrette to spark ideas about the City Plaza space in downtown Raleigh.

Designbox’s Dix Dirt Charrette Gains Attention

This Designbox exhibit of a local neighborhood parade has garnered attention in the News & Observer’s What’s Up.The show was also featured in the Raleigh Hatchet with the actual event described as “one of the coolest, and most original events Raleigh has to offer.”

“Keep A Breast – Raleigh” raises $10,000!

Gamil Design headed up this Designbox event to raise money for breast cancer research. Over 70 artists created pieces of art from plaster busts donated by local women.
