description
Teastick Gems infuse a single-cup of tea from small-leaf teas and herbals. Gamil tested many polymers to find Eastman Tritan, a BPA-free, FDA-approved material with vivid color and translucency. Tritan is paired with fine 304 Stainless Steel mesh. Gamil worked closely with the factory to encapsulate the mesh without need of adhesives through direct-injection molding (DIM). Other details include exposed edges where stainless meets polymer, and a fluid simple form.
Gamil designed the packaging to showcase the translucency and look of the product. Gamil spec'd materials, printing processes and assembly methods that the manufacturer could handle in-house, and developed a boxing and shipping configuration that enables Gamila to reship to wholesalers without having to rebox anything.
