Valdese Weavers hired Gamil to develop a series of two-sided textile designs. Valdese had a new technology that enabled them to weave a completely unique design on each side of a piece of fabric, which is perfect for room dividers, curtains and other scenarios. We created paired designs that played with that conceptual relationship, using color combinations, thematic similarities, or 2 parts of a whole to connect Side A and Side B to each other.
