Fabric Patterns

Valdese Weavers hired Gamil to develop a series of two-sided textile designs. Valdese had a new technology that enabled them to weave a completely unique design on each side of a piece of fabric, which is perfect for room dividers, curtains and other scenarios. Gamil created paired designs that played with that conceptual relationship, using color combinations, thematic similarities, or 2 parts of a whole.

Layers Apparel Wholesale Promotions

Gamil developed wholesale product catalogs for the Layers apparel brand of Great Outdoor Provision Co. This catalog was developed as a series of postcards. Each postcard represents one product. The back of each postcard consists of edgy outdoor illustrations.

Layers Activewear

Gamil worked with Great Outdoor Provision Co. to create a new collection of basics for their Layers brand. The cut, drape and materials result in highly functional pieces with unhindered movement and maximum breathability.

Trek Glove Collection

Gamil’s glove collections for Trek involved design concepts grounded in focused ergonomic research specific to cycling grips. Fit trials included testing from professional cycling teams. Dexterity, temperature control and breathability were all studied, documented and designed according to the specific cycling performance intent of the glove.

Museum Exhibit Kiosk

Gamil designed an information kiosk for Enhanced Realities. The kiosk reacts to a museum environment via infrared sensors to share additional. in-depth information.

Construction Newsletter

Barnhill Contracting hired Gamil to create a complete package of print materials, including a newsletter and template, a proposal template, cover and tabs set for large RFPs, a corporate folder and “a brochure you can fit in a suit pocket.”

Layers Apparel Logo

GOPC’s apparel brand, Layers, needed a fresh new brand that not only reflected a more contemporary style, but was easier to deal with in printing, screenprinting and embroidery. Gamil created a logo that was easy to reproduce in many different scenarios and reflected outdoor activity.

Keep-A-Breast: Cancer Benefit

Keep A Breast is a gallery event and art auction that benefits Breast Cancer Awareness organizations. Gamil branded, marketed and ran the entire event, including recruiting the artists and volunteers, finding the benefitting groups and running the auction. Keep A Breast Raleigh brought in a total of $10,000 at the end of the one-night auction, which was the most of any city to date.

Trek Bat Cage

The Trek Bat Cage was designed to be extremely light and durable— so light and durable, in fact, that Lance Armstrong used it for multiple Tour de France wins. The Bat Cage allows a bottle to easily slide in and out but will not let it be kicked out due to a bumpy ride.

Harnett County Branding

Gamil was hired to work with all of the Harnett County departments and commissioners (35+ people) to develop one overarching brand for the whoel group. The primary rebranding goal was to entice new business and industry to the county. A secondary goal was to bring consistency and unity to all of the departments.

Pictorial Product Instructions

Gamil developed a new approach to complicated instruction manuals with Panasonic. We took a 50 page set of written instructions and converted everything to icons and cartoon strips of pictorial information.

First Federal Bank

First Federal hired Gamil to strategize their brand approach and develop a new logo. Gamil gave recommendations to drop the word “Savings” from their name, to add a number of introductory checking and savings account offerings, to update and upgrade their online banking, and add a number of ATMs. We also developed a new contemporary logo.

Cycling Shoe Collection

This group of Performance cycling shoes ranged from competitive road cycling, to commuter to off-road. The Elite Road Shoe involved design, development and sourcing of the stiffest and lightest road shoe to that date.
